Department of Computer
The Department of Computer Science was established to meet the demand for quality education for girls and was conceived in the year 2001. Department focuses on theoretical as well as Practical knowledge of Computer subjects. Department has well qualified and vibrant faculties dedicated for the betterment of the students. Most of the students passed out from institute are well placed or have opted for higher studies. The department has well-equipped labs with latest software. LAN and Internet connectivity is key feature of labs. The annual intake of the department is approximately 200 students. The department ensures that program objectives are constantly met and learning outcomes are monitored through periodical test and assignment.
The Department regularly conducts seminars, workshops, training program and expert lectures. The eminent speakers give a glimpse of latest advancements in industry. Interclass Competitions are conducted to instigate the competitiveness spirit in the students.
The department conducts and motivates students to participate in cultural events such as an inter-college competition, Sports Day events and many more.
